Once the custom ROM is installed on your device you need a Gapps apckage, so in this guide we’ll show you how you can download the right versions of Google’s Apps (GApps) for your custom ROM.
Gapps package include the Google Play Store itself, Google Talk, Google Sync (for adding and synchronizing Google accounts), Google Backup Transport, Car Home, Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Google Search, Google Voice Search, Google Music, Google Currents, and Google Docs. As we all know that all the Stock rom comes with the all these Google apps, but on the other end Custom ROM are not packed with these application, so you need to install them manually on your device. Today in this guide we show you 2 different methods to install Gapps on your device.
1st Method:- Flash Gapps via Custom Recovery (TWRP or CWM)
In this method you need a rooted device with custom recovery installed. After that download the latest Google Apps here and move the flashable zip file on your device.
1. Once the zip file is moved on your phone, switch off your phone and wait for few seconds.
2. Now boot your device in recovery mode.
3. Next, apply Factory Reset:
– CWM Users: select ‘wipe data/ factory reset’, confirm.
– TWRP Users: press Wipe, then press Factory Reset. Confirm the process.
4. Now go back to the main custom Recovery Mode menu. Reboot your phone now.

2nd Method – Use Gapps Manager
Another easy way to install Gapps package is to use Gapps Manager android application. The application is super straight-forward. Once installed on your device you simply need to select the Android version you’re currently running from the list and your GApps downloads will begin.
