Xiaomi Releases New HyperOS 3 Launcher with Stack-Style Recents (iOS-Like Design)

Xiaomi has started rolling out an updated HyperOS 3 system launcher, and one of the most noticeable changes is the new Stack-style Recent Apps view. This new layout looks very similar to the iOS-style recents screen, marking a clear shift in Xiaomi’s UI direction.

Key Highlights of the New HyperOS 3 Launcher

  • Stack Recent Style: Instead of the traditional grid or horizontal scrolling, apps now appear in a stacked card format. This makes multitasking feel smoother and more visually appealing.
  • iOS?Inspired Animations: The transition effects and swipe gestures mimic iOS, giving Xiaomi devices a more polished and premium feel.
  • Improved Fluidity: Early impressions suggest that the new layout enhances multitasking speed and reduces clutter compared to the older design.
  • Universal Rollout: While the feature is currently China?only, Xiaomi is expected to expand availability to global devices in upcoming updates.
  • No Root Required: Users can enable this new style officially without rooting or custom ROMs, making it accessible and safe for everyday users

As of now, the updated HyperOS 3 launcher with Stack-style Recents appears to be available only in the China build. There’s no official confirmation yet on when or if this change will arrive in global or Indian ROMs.

But if you want to test this new Launcher with iOS-style recent drawer, then all you have to install one APK file on your Xiaomi or Redmi phone, and you can enjoy this new Stack-Style Recents (iOS-Like Design) on your phone.

NOTE:- The Launcher is not supported in the POCO Phone, due to POCO Launcher.
