MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM is now officially released for most of the Android phones and here are the step to Install MIUI 8 on Redmi Note 3, Mi 4i, Mi 4, Mi Max, Redmi 2 and Others Xiaomi phones. This is the new official update, and some of the phones will lose all the data from the phone, so do take backup of your Xiaomi device and save it in some safe place. To install MIUI 8 on your phone all you need a zip file of the ROM and have to flash the same on your phone with the help of recovery. The process is very simple and all it take a few minutes to install MIUI 8 on your phone.

Before following the guide make sure that your phone battery is above 50 % and read all the steps very carefully.

Steps to Install MIUI 8 on Xiaomi Phones

Step 1. Download the correct update package zip file for your phone from the below mention link. And save in the phone. ( Don’t create any folder or not save the zip in any of other folders)

Step 2. Open the Updater App from Tools Folder and tap on the three dots (…) and select “Reboot to Recovery mode”, alternatively you can power off your phone and then press power + Volume Up key simultaneously

Step 3. One you are in the recovery mode. Now use the volume button to choose the language and power key to select them.

Step 4. Go to “Install update.zip to System” and Press Power.

Step 5. Select Yes with Power Button and the installation process will start on your phone, and this will take some time.

Step 6. Once done, press back and Select Wipe & Reset. Then select Wipe Cache, press power key. Choose Yes, once done reboot your device.
