How to Install Google Pixel 2 Camera on Mi A1 Without Root
1. First, you need to unlock the bootloader of your Mi A1. If you already have done that then go to the step 2.
2. Download the Mi A1 Google Camera zip file here and save the zip on your phone.
3. Enable the USB debugging on your phone form the Developer options.
3. Extract the Mi A1 Google Camera zip file on your desktop and you will see some files in the folder.
4. Now run the ADB setup file and install all the drivers on your PC.
5. Now you will find the new ADB folder on your Windows C drive.
6. Open the ADB folder and copy the TWRP file form Mi A1 Google Camera folder and paste in the ADB folder.
7. Now save the Google Camera apk file on your phone’s Mi A1 internal memory.
8. Now switch off your phone and boot your phone in fastboot mode. Hold Down Volume Down + Power button.
9. Once your phone in fastboot mode, connect the Mi A1 to the PC with USB cable.
10. Now open the ADB folder and Open the Command prompt windows their by Holding the SHIFT button and Right click on the empty space of the ADB folder.
11. Now run the following commands on by one on your command window:-
fastboot devices
fastboot boot twrp.img
Now the phone will boot TWRP recovery
adb devices
adb shell
setprop persist.camera.HAL3.enabled 1
setprop persist.camera.eis.enable 1
exit
adb reboot bootloader
Now your phone will boot again in fastboot mode.
fastboot devices
fastboot reboot
12. Now your phone will reboot and open the file manager and install Google Camera apk file.
13. Now open the camera go to setting > Advanced settings and Enable Portrait mode.
14. Now Force stop the app once and re-start to the Enjoy the Front Portrait mode of Google Camera.

not working commands….
when i type command “fastboot devices” ,it shows nothing.
i installed adb and copied twrp.img into adb folder(C:/adb)
then i turnedoff my phone and put into fastboot mode,then connected to PC .
then i tried fastboot devices commands but nothing shows. what i did wrong.

Open the Command Prompt windows iN ADB folder, in which you saved the TWRP file
