HTC Officially announced that this month on June HTC One X, One S users will get the taste of new Jelly Bean Android 4.1 firmware. The users will also get the new Sense 4+ with update on both the HTC models One X and One S. The updates will start rolling out before October ends, no confirmed date for the update is available now, but will definitely comes on October.
Both the phone are pone of the most popular smartphone from the HTC. By default both the phone are running on Android 4.0 ICS, One X is powered with the new quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor with 1 GB RAM and has 4.7-inch 720p HD Super LCD 2 display with a new unibody polycarbonate design on the other hand One S is powered with 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 4.3-inch 960×540 display and comes with a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
HTC hasn’t fully disclosed when or which time the new update rollout begins, but its confirmed that the updated is on the way and users will get the update in October. The new Jelly bean Android 4.1 update has lots of new feature like Google Now, and should also provide additional fluidity thanks to Project Butter.
Currently both the phone are available in the Indian market, you can get the new HTC One X at Rs 31,500 approximately while the One S is being sold for Rs 26,200 approximately. And both the phones are currently powered by Ice Cream Sandwich.
