Today Verizon officially announced the release date for the Motorola DROID X2, the new Motorola Droid X2 will cost $200 on contract and will be available to buy online tomorrow, May 19th, and available on stores on May 26th. The new Motorola Droid X2 the display to 4.3” scratch-resistant and anti-reflective qHD display at 960×540 resolution. Dual-core 1GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera and HD capable video capture. The new DROID comes initially with Android 2.2 and will be upgradable later with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
