MIUI, is an Android-based operating system for smartphones and tablet computers developed by Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi. And MIUI 12 is the latest Skin fo Androdi OS which Xiaomi phone users are using these days and some of are still waiting for the MIUI 12 Updates. MIUI 12 brings along a cleaner UI, new animations, changes to navigation gestures, new live wallpapers, and AOD designs, privacy indicators for the microphone, camera, and location usage, improvements to multi-window, and Picture-in-Picture, an in-built sleep tracker, and many more changes throughout the UX!
And now it is confirmed that MIUI 13 is in the early stages of development and the user will get the same on their device in Mid of the year 2021. The MIUI 13 will be based on Android 11 and also comes with additional functionalities.
As per the latest report, the MIUI 13 is under development and MIUI developers are focusing on optimizing the animations to run more smoothly. This information is confirmed by Xiaomi engineers and recently one of the Xiaomi Moderators also confirmed the same on the MIUI Forums. See the screenshot below from the MIUI Forum.
