Android L Developer preview is now available to download for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. The new OS comes with lots of new features and new User interface. To get started all you need a Nexus 5 and 7 with unlocked bootloader and with Custom Recovery like TWRP or CWM. Before following this guide do take the full backup of you important file like contacts, apps, emails, photos, videos and files etc, and save the backup file in some safe place.
To get started first download the Android L 5.0 Developer preview images for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 form the below mention links and extract the same on your desktop. And in the folder you will some file like bootloader.img, radio file, flash file etc.

Once the file is downloaded and extracted on your desktop, you need a ADB and fastboot files to flash all these files on your nexus device. Once you are ready with the ADB files all you have to enter some commands on your command prompt window to complete the flash process on your device.
