Today LG has announced its latest Optimus handset, LG Optimus Q2, includes IPS screen and an overclocked Tegra 2 processor. The phone features 4-inch IPS WVGA (480 x 800) touchscreen with the popular 700-nit display output. The 12.3mm-thin device, enclosed in a strong metallic finished body, weighs just about 147 g. The light-weight phone supports 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, HSDPA, micro USB and much more.
According to LG, the Optimus Q2 should also be one of the thinnest QWERTY sliders around. The LG Optimus Q2 is reported to launch soon in USA and carried by Sprint, there are no details on pricing as yet.
