If you are tired with your android camera sounds, startup tones, low battery sound etc and want to get rid of annoying sounds on your android smartphone. Here is the simple guide for the rooted phone users, with this guide you can easily remove all these sounds with the help of file explorer. Yes you heard it right with the file explorer, all you need a rooted device, file explorer app and make some change on your android system and you are done. If you don’t have the rooted device then read some of the best rooting guide on the HowToRootMobile.com and root your device within a minute.
To get started, you’ll need to install a root-enabled file browser. I’ll be demonstrating with ES File Explorer here, since it’s a free app available on Google Play. You can download the app from this link.
Once the app is installed on your rooted device, Go to the settings of the application and enable the ‘Root Explorer’ Option to make changes on your system files.
Now go to the System folder and tap the Media folder inside of it. See the screenshot below:-
Now in the media folder you will lots of folder like Alarms, Ringtones, Notifications and UI. Here open the UI folder to see all of the system sound files.
Here you can see all the system sound files. Select the file which you want to disable on your phone or tablet and Move that file to some other folder on your SD card. This will disable the sound the on your system. Once you are done, reboot your device to apply the changes. Now all those annoying sounds are removed form your devcie. In future if you want to get back those sounds, then again move those files to the default UI folder and reboot your device.
