Research In Motion (RIM) today announced the launch of its new dual-screen ‘Style’ smartphone BlackBerry Style 9670 for CDMA customers in India, to be sold in the open market. It runs the new BlackBerry OS 6.0. It has 360 x 400 resolution internal display and 240 x 320 resolution external display.
BlackBerry Style has an optical trackpad with a full-QWERTY keyboard. There is a 5 megapixel camera with flash and support for video recording. RIM’s smartphone for CDMA users has a built-in GPS for location-based apps and geo-tagging, Wi-Fi and extended data coverage. It has a 512MB flash memory, plus an 8GB microSD/SDHC memory card and an expandable memory slot for up to 32GB of additional storage.
The Blackberry Style is now available in India for about Rs. 23,000.
